Michael Ginn

I joined Palatine Growth Credit in 2025 after more than 12 years in corporate banking, where I provided tailored debt solutions to both SMEs and large corporates businesses to drive growth through funding capex projects, investment in people, acquisitions, management buyouts and general working capital.

I’ve always enjoyed meeting ambitious, entrepreneurial management teams and taking the time to really understand the key drivers of their business – both from an operational and a strategic viewpoint – to become a true funding partner who can continue to support the execution of a long-term growth plan.

Having spent half my career in the North and half in London, I have also seen first-hand the imbalance in funding opportunities for the SME market across the UK and truly believe there is significant untapped potential in the regions that I’m committed to unlocking.

Outside of work, I’m a keen runner, whether that be training for marathons or being a parkrun tourist at events across the country. I’m also a passionate Liverpool FC supporter and an enthusiastic, but frustrated, golfer who enjoys hacking my way around the golf course whenever time allows!
